Born on the 14th August 1991 on a small island in the Mediterranean called Malta, my parents decided to name me Kelly, actually it was my father who had come up with the name after he saw his friend's baby girl whose name was Kelly, lame really but its not my fault. Anyway I got to appreciate my name more when I discovered that, its irish meaning warrior, guess my father was right in his choice of names after all. When I was born my parents weren't in such a good financial situation, my mother worked at a factory and my father was just starting off his carrier as a nurse, however they did their best so as to keep me happy. At age three I started school at Little Angels B'kara. I just loved school even as a little kid. At age four I changed school and started to attend St. Monica school Mosta. I loved languages especially english, a subject I excelled at, however I was a mathematical disaster :/, at age seven (grade 2) my class teacher had recommended that I attended private maths lessons. My mother was flabbergasted at the idea and refused to do so. Aged eight I changed school again, this time I went to St. monica B'kara. It seemed as if it was the start of a new life for me, new friends, new teachers, new environment. I was right, I improved so much accidemically. Grade four was a complete disaster, my grades were still excellent however I had a teacher which hated my guts, however it was in that year that I started to write a few verses. Grade 5 was probably the best year, that is because it was the year in which I met my three best friends Alexia, Nadine and my violin :) . Life at school changed drastically when I met them :). September 2003 was the start of a chain of bad events in my family, my mother was run over, however she made it through with only a few scratches. Shortly afterwards my mother went through minor surgeory. September 2005 my father went through surgeory and that was probably the worst period of my life since I almost lost him. Anywayz enough with the emotional stuff. 2007 Is the year I left St. Monica school b'kara, what a relief! Thirteen years of seeing the same faces in the same environment were beginning to suck big time! 2007 is also the year I did my O levels, eleven in all :). 25th September, the day I start school at De La Salle sixth form, the day I can't stop thinking about and the day I am anxiously waiting for. :)
